1st mobile phone call / by Richard

40 years from today, on April 3rd in 1973 did Marty Cooper a Motorola employee the very first mobile phone call using a DynaTAC prototype. He called Bell Labs (AT&T) saying "I'm ringing you just to see if my call sounds good at your end."

The Motorola DynaTAC 8000x weight was a little more than 1 Kg and had only one-line LED display, later on the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x costed just $3,995.

Mr. Gordon Gekko had one :)
