This continent is not only the source of mankind but also the source of beauty.

Africa is the world’s second largest continent covering about over 30 million square kilometers. There are 54 countries and one “non-self governing territory”, the Western Sahara, in Africa. Before colonial rule Africa comprised up to 10,000 different states and autonomous groups with distinct languages and customs.

As a photographer navigating the AI era, we are confronted with numerous fresh opportunities and, at the same time, potential challenges. The question looms: can we not only survive but also harness the full potential of these new possibilities, especially with the advent of mega digital cameras in this emerging photographic age?

Certainly, AI tools have enabled enthusiastic individuals to craft a diverse array of captivating artificial images. However, the question arises: can these creators truly be called photographers? In my view, the distinction lies in the ownership of photographs and the associated intellectual property rights. This consideration has made me considerably more discerning in terms of what and how I choose to publish my images.
