Star Wars

R2-D2 in the sky by Richard

Disney’s doing an incredible job at building hype around its reboot of the Star Wars franchise. And the crown-jewel of their marketing may very well be a Japanese plane painted like R2-D2.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) is adding two more Star Wars-themed liveries to its campaign with Disney. A Boeing 777-300, dubbed BB-8 ANA Jet and operating on international routes, will sport a livery featuring the new droid character, BB-8 as part of the Japanese airline’s marketing partnership with Walt Disney Co. and Lucasfilm.

It's definitely cooler than ANA's Pokemon aircraft's from the late 1990s!

inside information regarding the new Star Wars by Richard

Marc Postman of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Md., said in a statement "my intergalactic scanner recently intercepted the following message to Robert A. Bob Iger, president of Walt Disney International":

Dear Bob,

Please don't have any singing and dancing in the new Star Wars movie. See you

in summer 2015.

Sincerely,

Darth Vader

The message was sent from the galaxy MACS0647-JD, which is about 13.3 billion light-years away.

Homemade Star Wars by Richard

I love this clip, it clearly shows that you can do it with less...

CineFix's "homemade movies" series is nothing short of impressive, and its latest effort, the "Death Star trench run" scene from "Star Wars" may be its most ambitious of all.
