I am a Burner

Magnus and I are going to Burning Man this year. We will drive several hours in a 4x4 to the hot and dusty Nevada desert and camp in the temporary city of tents and RVs to see art, hear music, people watch, participate and to get out of our comfort zone. 

Extreme self-reliance, artistic expression and radical community: These are just a few ways to describe the annual Burning Man experience that takes place in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. More than 68,000 people gather, barter, build and participate in a cultural experiment with almost no limits.

You will notice that the majority of people you will see in my pictures are either dust covered nude, dust covered partial nude or dust covered costume.

Is this just an excuse for a bunch of hippies, new-agers and ravers to party, no its an emotional boot camp ;)
