The current financial system has already started to collapse. In order for a worldwide financial system to work, there has to be more solidarity, more willingness of the stronger countries to help the weaker.
But then there is the rise of narcissism, fascism and dictatorships around the world, with Trump being the most visible and powerful character of this global pattern. Remember, no valid plans for the future can be made by those who have no capacity for living now.
More than half of the world’s topsoil that we use to feed ourselves have been depleted in the last 100 years. More than 90% of the game fish have been removed from our oceans, and with 50% of the world’s land area is now dominated by human activity.
Now there are self-driving cars, but the question is: where is this taking us? One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.
Today’s internet is fantastic; it brings us all the world's knowledge independently of where we live or who we are. But at the same time it is spying 24/7 on 80% of the world's population. Freedom is something that dies unless it's used.
But I have hope, our future generations will be able to enjoy a better world.
