Silver Series / by Richard

Guido Argentini is an Italian photographer, famous for his photographic portraits of women. He was born in Florence, Italy, and studied medicine for three years before turning professionally to photography—a background that comes through in the exquisite anatomy of his nude portraits.

In his fantastic Silver Series of 2009, he uses silver paint on dancers to emphasize the form of the body. His fascination for flowers and human body's and composition, reminds me of Robert Mapplethorpe.
