The crowdfunding platform Indiegogo announced that the Ubuntu Edge campaign has set the record as the largest crowdfunding project ever, more than 24,000 donors have offered up nearly $11.9 million in funding as of yesterday morning.
The target is $32,000,000 in less then 48 hours.
The Ubuntu Edge could be next big step in mobile technology, bringing you the smartphone and desktop PC in one state-of-the-art device.
