Back to the Future is a documentary short about Argentinean photographer Irina Werning’s incredible photography project where she recreates cherished old photographs of people.
“I work on a really tight budget and do most of the things myself so it’s not perfect,” she explains. “And I like it like that, because if it was perfect it would be advertisement.”
The result is somewhat assume. You can tell just from one photo that a lot of work has been put into research, locations and props for each and every shoot – even time and money has been put towards finding the same (or similar) object in the background, such as wallpaper or curtains.
