I am writing this blog from Malawi, as the founder of Kids Non-Profit Organization to ask for your help. Yes I am in the middle of Africa and I must say this is one of the best things I ever did, starting KNPO!
Kids Non-Profit Organization (KNPO) has a simple mission, which is to increase the visibility of children walking along unlit roads. Initially, KNPO will do so by distributing reflective beads and providing road safety education to these children in developing countries. Our mission is simple and effective, and not disruptive to local businesses or the environment.
According to World Health Organization, the number of pedestrian road deaths in less developed countries for 5 to 14 year old children is greater than the number of fatalities from Malaria or HIV! Walking by the side of a road at night is very dangerous in some countries.
Our goal is that each child will receive the proper education and a free bead-package with instructions to make bracelets and handicrafts for themselves and their family members.
We recently made a deal with two large school organisations in Malawi and South Africa, intending to distribute the KNPO packages to more than 150’000 children and their families. Now I need to collect $7 per family reaching an average of 5 peoples. Please help me with your donation to KNPO:
