The "Millennium series" of crime novels with: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, is practically a real story.
Recently a similar story appeared in the Swedish media about a girl called “Nora“ who lived almost an identical life; prostituting herself at the orphanage! And brutally raped for hours by a highly ranked Swedish police officer: Göran Lindberg.
“Nora“ was mistreated by every possible authorities: the Police, Public Prosecutor and the Swedish healthcare. She was ruled legally incompetent as a child, and was under the care of a legal guardian: the manager of a psychiatric hospital; Ola Gefvert who got fired since this story.
